Learning Through Play
"Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning."- Robert John Meehan

As a teacher, I take inventory of the interests of children in my care and incorporate elements, or themes that I know will appeal to their natural sense of wonder allowing them to dive into exploration taking any lesson to the next level. They build on their knowledge and experience in a natural environment where they not only demonstrate their skills, but share their knowledge and interests with the friends they have made.

Playing is Learning

"Play is the highest form of research."- Albert Einstein

From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, children are continuously exposed to new activities in a home environment in which to thrive. I build on the strengths and interests of each child to help form a solid foundation to develop confidence, independence, and school readiness skills. To learn more, keep reading or get in touch with me.

Mission Statement

"Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel."- Socrates

The weekly lesson and individualized support provide endless opportunities each day for imaginative play, socialization, creativity, and STEAM activities for all children. A variety of educational theories are incorporated to identify the learning style of each child to prepare them for future academic and social-emotional success.

Contact Me

In 2006, I began my teaching career as a special education teacher. In 2019, I transitioned into an administrative role supporting educators that provide quality programming opportunities to children with significant disabilities.

Now, inspired and motivated to spend as much time as I can with my young grandchildren, I am excited to extend my love for teaching and playing as an in-home care provider.
